The sender remains the owner of the goods until he agrees to the sale by responding to our letter with a PDF invoice.

Step five: Product handling and payment

As soon as we receive an SMS with a code, the goods are picked up.

After checking and evaluating the goods, the customer receives a PDF invoice to the e-mail indicated in the questionnaire.

Additional Information

  • The sender remains the owner of the material until they consent to the sale by affirmatively replying to our email containing the PDF act of acceptance and invoice.
  • If you are unsure about the value of the material being sent (e.g., you are in doubt whether the catalytic converters are original or if the electronics are valuable), please send a photo to our email info@bmr.ee before shipping the parcel.
  • The purchase and sale of waste is conducted in accordance with § 106 of the Waste Act of the Republic of Estonia.

Cases where we return the material at the customer's expense:

For catalytic converters:

  • If the customer does not grant permission for an analysis, making it impossible for us to determine the value of the catalyst ceramic.
  • If the customer does not know exactly what they have sent (e.g., sent universal catalytic converters) but is convinced of their originality. In such cases, we will send the customer a photo of the material along with our comments. If the customer insists on their opinion, we will return the material to them.

For electronic scrap:

  • If the customer has sent material with no financial value (e.g., blank textolite instead of printed circuit boards). In this case as well, we will send a photo with comments. If the customer insists on their opinion, we will return the material.

Requirements for acceptable waste:

  • Catalyst ceramic must have a natural moisture level. Upon receiving the ceramic, we base our assessment on catalog data rather than its actual weight. Typically, used ceramic weighs slightly more than indicated in the catalog because it absorbs moisture and soot.
  • Crushed ceramic pieces or dust are evaluated strictly on the basis of an analysis.
  • The ceramic must not contain foreign materials (e.g., asbestos, ceramic rings, or metal elements of the catalytic converter).
  • Ceramic inside a metal casing (uncut catalytic converters) may also be moist. The weight of the ceramic is similarly determined based on catalog data.
  • Do not cut iron-core catalytic converters out of their casings! Doing so will cause the powder containing precious metals to spill out.
