Electronic components should not sit for years in boxes, warehouses or after equipment dismantling. They may contain valuable materials, and proper sorting helps prepare them for further recycling.
BASE Metal accepts individual electronic components and mixed batches in Estonia. Send us a few photos and we will give you a preliminary indication of what material you have, whether it is worth bringing in and how best to arrange delivery.
Electronic components we accept
- ICs and microchips, processors, transistors, relays, connectors, contacts, switches and other electronic components.
- Components from industrial, test and measurement, telecommunications and computer equipment.
- Components recovered during equipment dismantling, repair, disassembly, production work or clearance of surplus warehouse stock.
- Mixed batches of electronic components, subject to preliminary review of photos.
- Other electronic parts and components - send us photos if the type or composition of the batch is unclear.
What is important to know about electronic components
Electronic components can vary significantly in type, condition and material composition. Send us several photos of the batch: an overall view, close-ups of the components and, where available, their markings. We do not provide an exact valuation from photos, but we can give a preliminary indication of whether the material is worth bringing in and the approximate value range you may expect.
Electronic component intake is available only by prior arrangement of the date and time of your visit by phone at +372 5650 6492. Inspection and sorting of these batches require additional time. If you arrive without a prior appointment, we may be unable to accept the material.
How the intake process works
Send us several photos, a list or an Excel file via WhatsApp, Telegram or e-mail.
We make a preliminary assessment of the material and tell you whether it is worth bringing it in for inspection and acceptance.

Bring the material to the BASE Metal site or arrange collection of the batch with us.
Components are accepted according to the composition of the batch and the degree to which different materials are mixed. If precise sorting is required, separate terms are agreed in advance.
You receive a clear next step and the required documentation for your company.
Preliminary guidance and assessment terms
We do not provide an exact valuation of electronic components from photographs, as this requires physical inspection and, where necessary, sorting of the components. However, a few photos allow us to understand what type of material is involved, whether it is worth bringing in and the approximate value range you can expect. This helps avoid situations where a client spends time transporting a low-value batch and is disappointed with the final settlement.
If the components are heavily mixed, the batch is accepted based on an approximate assessment without precise sorting. At the client's request, we can carry out detailed sorting separately for an agreed fee. This requires additional time and may take up to 5 working days.
For regular suppliers, we can agree a separate working arrangement, including agreed terms, repeat batches, documentation and collection by agreement.

Frequently asked questions about electronic component recycling
I inherited or acquired a garage or warehouse full of electronics, but I do not know how valuable the material is. What should I do?
Send us a few general photos of the electronics so that we can understand the approximate value range involved. We will contact you and agree on the next step: either you bring everything to us for sorting and assessment by our specialists, or we send a specialist to the site for a more detailed evaluation.
Can I bring a mixed batch of electronic components?
Yes. If the components are heavily mixed, the batch is accepted based on an approximate assessment. Detailed sorting can be ordered separately for an agreed fee and may take up to 5 working days. To help us understand the batch in advance, please send several photos first.

Yes. Collection is agreed separately and depends on the volume, address and composition of the material.
